ILCA vang – Upper assembly bolt/setscrew (Harken)

This bolt/setscrew is the most reliable & most secure method of attaching the vang key to the upper assembly block.

NB Over time there have been two variations of this block & this bolt/setscrew is for the later version.

The later version is easily recognisable by the fact that the cheeks (side plates) of the block are shaped to narrow the head so that a single (upgraded) key just fits.

The earlier version is recognisable by the fact the cheeks (side plates) are flat & parallel.

Tool required to fit:
1 x Pozidrive No2 Screwdriver
1 x 8mm spanner
